Primary Care

Family Medical Center has many primary care providers offering ongoing medical care for patients.  Having a consistent relationship with a primary care provider (PCP) and maintaining routine visits is important to your overall health.  They know you and your history.  This allows them to recognize changes in your health.  At Family Medical Center, primary care providers focus on whole-person care, rather than care based solely on a specific condition.  Patients who see the same provider generally have better outcomes.

Patients See Their PCPs for a Number of Reasons:

  • Routine care: regular physicals, prescription refills, immunizations
  • Common illnesses:  flu, ear infections, sore throat, asthma, headaches, rashes
  • Chronic and complex conditions: diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, depression,
  • Minor injuries:  sprains, back pain, cuts and burns, broken bones

You can choose your provider and the department you wish to be seen in based on the type of care you and your family need.
