OB Hospital Tour

Learning about the options and services available when you are going to have a baby is extremely valuable for first-time mothers and equally beneficial to those who may have already had a baby.

The OB Hospital Tour covers many topics, including birthing options, relaxation techniques, pain-management options, and a tour of the New Life Birthplace.  The instructors are nurses who are experienced in obstetrics and childbirth education.

Tours are specific to families planning to deliver at CHI St. Gabriel’s Health.

“Everyone was fantastic! I felt very comfortable the entire time. Every single person was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The delivery team was so encouraging and made sure I wasn’t nervous. The surgery team was informative and walked me through everything. The nurses were outstanding on the floor. Thank you Dr. Bell and Dr. Frazier.”

I went into labor 3.5 weeks early on New Year’s Day. We got to the hospital just in time! With my baby being breached and how close he was to being born, we are so grateful for how quickly the team worked to get it where we had our baby the way we wanted to. For how quick everything happened. We are so pleased with how everything turned out and would highly recommend doctoring with St. Gabriel’s! Thank you so much team for making this labor as easy and comforting as it possibly could have been!

I recently had a baby at St. Gabriel’s and I had the most wonderful experience! Everyone from the physicians/providers, nurses, anesthesia, lab, and housekeeping were amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would not go anywhere else to have a baby – this little hospital in our small community is a hidden gem.

“Dr. Snow is amazing! We switched providers at 38 weeks and 1 day because we felt our concerns were not being heard. We truly want to thank those who recommended and spoke highly of Dr. Snow. He listened to all our concerns. Dr. Snow, Thank you for caring and most importantly thank you for delivering our sweet, beautiful, HEALTHY little girl. Also a HUGE thank you to all those nurses who helped and cared for us the second we got on the floor. You are all amazing!”

When I came into St. Gabriel’s for the induction of my daughter, I was very nervous to deliver and had no clue what to expect. From the second I arrived I was treated so well. They told me everything they were going to do and why and answered every question I had. Shanda was an AMAZING nurse. She talked me through everything and kept me so calm and helped me with anything I needed. She was the kind of nurse everyone hopes to have at delivery. My primary doctor, Julie Bell, is honestly one of a kind. Her calm and kind demeanor helped me feel so at ease with everything. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was going okay, and that I was always comfortable and answered any questions I had.

Once the nurses switched shifts and I had my daughter, I had nurse Sandy. She helped me with nursing and was so patient with me and was helping me with all the tips and tricks. She was kind, and caring even when it was 3am. I cannot thank all the staff at St. Gabriel’s Hospital enough for making my delivery experience go so well. I will be forever thankful for how they treated me and my family.
