Little Falls Orthopedics surgeon Paul Johnson, DO, recently earned board certification through the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS). This certification identifies physicians who meet high standards of performance in the field of orthopedic surgery.
The process for obtaining this certification is extensive. Surgeons seeking certification from the AOBOS must complete a written examination, an oral examination, and undergo a clinical review consisting of a chart audit and observation of surgical cases.
“This is a significant accomplishment,” says Tracy VanHerke, Little Falls Orthopedics administrator. “We appreciate Dr. Johnson’s ongoing commitment to achieving excellence in his field and providing high quality care for his patients.”
Dr. Johnson joined Little Falls Orthopedics in 2010. He received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO, in 2005. Dr. Johnson’s surgical practice includes performing a wide range of orthopedic procedures such as ligament and cartilage repairs, treating fractures and sports injuries, and total joint replacement surgeries.
