After over three decades of dedicated service as an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Prosapio will retire on June 4th, 2023.
Little Falls, MN – CHI St. Gabriel’s Health announces the retirement of Dr. Philip Prosapio, a highly respected and dedicated surgeon who has provided exceptional service to the hospital and the community. After 32 years with St. Gabriel’s Hospital/Little Falls Orthopedics, Dr. Prosapio’s retirement will be effective June 4th, 2023. He will be greatly missed by patients and faculty alike.
Dr. Prosapio has been an integral member of the CHI St. Gabriel’s Health family, providing exceptional care and compassion to patients in the Little Falls area. He has been an esteemed member of the medical staff, specializing in orthopedic surgery. Throughout his career, Dr. Prosapio has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication to his patients and his colleagues.
During his tenure at Little Falls Orthopedics, Dr. Prosapio built a reputation as a skilled surgeon and compassionate caregiver. He was known for his expertise in joint pain and osteoarthritis. He has helped thousands of patients over the years, improving their quality of life and restoring their mobility. Dr. Prosapio has also mentored many surgeons, sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of healthcare providers.
In retirement, Dr. Prosapio plans to embark on some fun adventures with his wife, Susy. They have already begun plans to restore and re-open the local movie theatre in the Little Falls community. In addition to the movie theater, they will be opening an adjacent restaurant, Ciao Thyme.
To celebrate Dr. Prosapio’s retirement, CHI St. Gabriel’s Health is hosting an open house celebration on Friday, June 2 from 3 pm – 5 pm at Little Falls Orthopedics. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
