CHI St. Gabriel’s Health, recently celebrated the opening of over 15,000 additional square feet of the new clinic space at Family Medical Center (FMC). The celebration also included commemorating ten years of FMC’s ministry with CHI St. Gabriel’s Health. An outdoor ceremony was held on September 29, the Feast of St. Gabriel, to honor the occasion.
Steve Smith, CEO of CHI St. Gabriel’s Health, along with Andrew Santos, SVP of Mission Integration for the Fargo Division of CHI, led a formal ceremony to dedicate the newly expanded clinic space and celebrate the ten year anniversary. Sr. Mary Pat Burger, OSF, Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls and Board member for CHI St. Gabriel’s Health, led the blessing and installation of the San Damiano cross in the clinic lobby.
The new construction project added twenty-seven exam rooms, additional procedure rooms and consultation spaces. A major focus of the expansion was to add space for future growth opportunity, allow space for walk-in clinic services and a retail pharmacy.
